Responsibilities:
Design mobile web and native apps that engage users daily with games, quizzes, interactive stories, a path to unlock personalized learning and development opportunities, a profile, and more
Solve complex interaction and system design problems
Create a range of deliverables, from high-fidelity UI, icons, and prototypes to product specs
Work with the founding team to develop the overall product strategy and roadmap
Collaborate with neuroscientists, corporate customers, and users on how product design can best support assessment and personalized learning and development at scale
Develop and extend the Skillprint brand across every touchpoint with our audience
Requirements:
4+ years of product design experience at a consumer or SaaS product company
Have a portfolio of product features you’ve built from the ground up
Are comfortable turning wide-ranging, complex, and ambiguous problems into actionable and discrete projects and product solutions
Strong proficiency with interactive and collaborative prototyping and design tools
Are an independent and entrepreneurial product thinker
Are curious about how your mind works, including how you think and act, and are excited about helping others to use those insights to develop and achieve their life goals

Skillprint is looking for a Senior Computational Scientist with a proven ability to engineer software systems for conducting research in psychology, cognitive science, or neuroscience. You will use your expertise to tailor games and other interactive experiences to measure a person's skills, personality, and mood, and to recommend pathways for increased satisfaction and self-improvement. Responsibilities
Formulate research questions, design experimental protocols, collect data, analyze it, and communicate specific recommendations for how to use the results to improve our product
Review the literature to distill the gold standard measures for complex latent variables including cognitive skills and personality traits
Translate those gold standard laboratory paradigms into engaging and rewarding games, surveys, and other activities
Identify specific gameplay elements in off-the-shelf games that might be able to measure variables of interest to our users, then run experiments to put them to the test
Write production code to process gameplay telemetry and other user data using the scientific Python ecosystem (Numpy, Statsmodels, Pandas, etc.)
Work with the founding team to develop the overall product strategy and roadmap
Collaborate with outside experts, corporate customers, and users on how our product can best support assessment and personalized learning and development at scale
Requirements
3+ years experience conducting research in a social or behavioral science like psychology, cognitive science, or behavioral/functional neuroscience (PhD/ABD is a plus, equivalent industry experience is also great)
Strong programming skills with the ability to contribute production-ready code using the scientific Python ecosystem (Numpy, Statsmodels, Pandas, etc.)
Proficiency in common statistical techniques like ANOVA, regression models, clustering and classification
Practical knowledge of how to pick the right tool for the job, striking a balance between the elegance of simple, understandable analysis and the power of nuanced, insightful results
Able to turn wide-ranging and ambiguous problems into actionable and discrete projects and product solutions
Nice to haves
Experience with relational databases (we use PostgreSQL) and object-relational mapping tools (we use Django)
Experience building APIs to power Web or mobile apps
Advanced statistical skills like non-linear modeling (including neural networks) or hierarchical Bayesian modeling
